Since 2012 the MCL group organizes an annual Summer Club addressed to high school students, providing a variety of STEM activities. The basic goal of the Summer Club is to give participating students the opportunity to participate in a variety of innovative educational activities related to new technologies and science learning. For instance, students take part in a repertoire of innovative educational activities such as socio-scientific investigations employing augmented reality applications and digital games, experimental investigations and field studies. In addition, during each summer club students have the opportunity participate in a variety of workshops aiming to develop students’ ICT and media skills related to website design, radio production, video editing, infographics, etc.
