We are happy to announce that Christiana Varda, a PhD student at the Media Cognition and Learning Research Group, has been selected as a participant in the Doctoral Consortium, offered at the International Society of the Learning Sciences (ISLS) Conference 2023, in Montreal, Canada.
The ISLS Doctoral Consortium is designed to support the growth of young researchers working in the learning sciences and provides the opportunity for advanced Ph.D. students to share their doctoral research with their peers and faculty who serve as mentors. Christiana will discuss her doctoral work which is focused on examining epistemic engagement and emotions during information encounters on social media.
